Hey there fellow
I have to disappoint you dude, but this brand new gnarly surfing magazine doesn’t really exist. Unfortunately! It’s just ficticious and serves as a canvas for a series of free surf art works I create from time to time. But I could imagine that such a satirical surf mag would be fun to read.
The characters come alive while I doodle with no specific plan 9 in my mind. The general appearance is inspired by a humorous look at the surf culture paired with a gentle stylistic nudge from the Eighties. And my respect to the legend Rick Griffin who influenced my work as an surf artist.
