The Sauce Tour – A Celebration of 25 Years
In January 2019, G. Love & Special Sauce celebrated their 25th anniversary.
I was asked by the Philadelphonic Management to create a series of “The Sauce Tour – A Celebration of 25 Years” posters and a merch line. The poster edition 1 + 2 shows a scene inspired by the official Cold Beverage video. It was so much fun to add all the details from the band’s history. The car on the right front for example was Garrett Dutton’s very first car. There is also a small hidden reference as a tribute to Jim Phillips who is responsible for my passion for rock art.
Also the band liked the graffiti on the wall at the top so much that they decided to use it for their tour T-shirts and hoodies. The band merch was sold during the Sauce Tour, so please ask Philadelphonic Management if you like to purchase a poster or T-shirt online.
